It would be meaningful to me to see cultural humility actually employed in educational institutions, where I am hopeful for the academic sphere to someday eliminate discrimination and harassment. Academia should be a safe place for authentic engagement, reflecting upon diverse voices and perspectives.

My long-term goal is to become a clinical psychologist and researcher specializing in lifestyle interventions for diverse populations affected by neurodegenerative diseases and psychopathy. Through the JEDI committee, I wish to address institutional barriers that discourage inclusion of students from uninterrupted groups in psychology.
